- Saint-Félix-de-Montceau in the Hérault département
- Saint Gilles: in the Gard département on the border of the Camargue, the ancient seat of the The House of Toulouse. It is one of several World Heritage sites in the Languedoc. Click here for more about St-Gilles
- Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. Benedictine monks have been here since 578. The Abbey is pre-Romanesque and the cloister (in pink marble) Ronanesque. Concerts during the festival Pablo Casals at nearby Prades. Tel: 04 68 96 13 35
- Saint-Martin-du-Canigou in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. Abbey Church and cloister of the XI-XIIth centuries. Tel: 04 68 05 50 03.
- Prieuré de Serrabona (literally, the Priory of the Good Mountain) in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. Consecrated in 1151 and classified as a Monument Historique in 1838. Beautiful capitals in the cloister. Open 10am-6pm, except Public Holidays. Entry charge. (Turn off the N116 onto the D618 then follow the signs).
